Local apples, Ceylon cinnamon, lightly toasted walnuts
These bars are our 75% dark chocolate with a delightful mix of dried apples (ginger gold, macoun and honeycrisp apples grown at the Nicewicz Family Farm in Bolton, MA), lightly toasted walnuts and a touch of true Ceylon cinnamon. The walnuts add a nutty, buttery crunch, which are complimented by sweet fall apples and warming cinnamon.
This bar was originally a microbatch charoset bar in the spring Passover sampler, and everyone that tried it asked for it to return as a fall flavor. So here it is, back by popular demand!
